I heard a friend once say that "film is a combination of all arts." From that moment I set out to be as omnipresent in the arts as possible. If you know how the meat is made, it's wasted if you never make a burger yourself. This knowledge has burdened me by allowing my directorial debut, ala music videos, to be recognized by 3 Academy Award qualifying film festivals so far. One of the three festivals made me an award winning director at the expense of Jeremy Renner's in-competition loss.
